Tea Bowl With Takatori Itome Kakewake
[ たかとりいとめかけわけちゃわん ]
Tea bowl with a rim called Hatazori (opening up) shape. Decorative technique called Itome (threading) is used to achieve fine transversal lines. Rice straw ash glazes of Shiro (white) and Kuro (black) are applied to the inner and front parts. Kiyu glaze (yellow) is applied to the rest of the part. This utilization of different glazes give diversified ambience to this bowl.
