Tea Bowl Takatori Kakewake
[ たかとりかけわけちゃわん ]
Cylinder shaped tea bowl. Enshu, a 16th century tea master, particularly loved this shape. Takatori’s traditional technique called Usuzukuri (thin finish) can be observed. Relatively thicker layers of glazes of Shiroyu (white) and Kiyu (yellow) are overlapped on each side.
